The OTAMAN is an armoured fighting vehicle designed to perform on the battlefield with maximum protection and efficiency. Its modern design allows it to perform high-risk missions with safety and precision, exceeding expectations in any tactical environment.
Its composition, a benchmark for similar armoured fighting vehicles, places the engine at the right front, leaving the central space for the weapons station and the rear for troop deployment, ensuring safe embarkation and disembarkation in the heat of battle.
Rugged defence against any threat
Constructed from state-of-the-art ballistic steel, the OTAMAN offers STANAG 4569 Level 2 protection, with the possibility of reinforcing its armour up to Level 4 with ceramic armour add-ons. In addition, its interior has an anti-shrapnel lining to increase safety against explosive fragments.
Crew habitability and technology
Designed for extended missions, OTAMAN’s interior prioritises crew comfort with ample space, including both thermal and acoustic protection, and ergonomic seating to reduce fatigue. In addition, its advanced adjustable lighting system ensures optimal visibility in
any situation.
All-round vision at all times
The OTAMAN incorporates a 360° video surveillance system with day and night vision cameras, and for blackout mode driving, a thermal camera is included, allowing driving with the headlights completely off. It can be equipped with the Land Platform Modernization Kit system, an augmented reality helmet that provides the commander with a complete view of the environment in real time.
